SEMH TEACHING ASSISTANT

Are you looking for a new positon within the education section? Experienced with Behavioural Management? Teaching Personnel are looking for a SEMH Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are currently working with an alternative provision who works with individuals who have been permanently excluded, or who are at the risk of permanent exclusion. Their aim is to provide a positive learning experience so that the students can gain the skills and confidence that will allow them to become more successful within education. They are looking to recruit an individual who has strong behaviour management and motivational skills.

Role:

• Supporting the delivery of all lessons and helping to engage students
• Liaise with teachers and support staff to develop education plans
• Delivering intervention
• Nurture and develop the pupils social and academic potential
• Age range 4-16
• 8:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday (early finish Friday!)

Ideal candidate requirements:

• Experience of behavioural management within small groups or 1:1 setting
• Experience with SEMH and Autism
• Great communication skills
• Right attitude towards teaching and learning within SEN
