Teaching Assistant – SEN Primary School in Bolton

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a Special educational needs school in the Farnworth area of Bolton.
The school offers a stable and supportive environment to its students age 4-11 who have a range of complex learning disabilities which can include ASC, SLD and PMLD. Ideally candidates will have a knowledge of Team-teach, Makaton or PECS and have experience with or are comfortable with personal caring duties.
The students at the school are challenged to achieve through inspirational high quality teaching and personalised learning, therefore candidates will be expected to be flexible and attentive both inside and outside the classroom.

This is a challenging but rewarding role therefore candidates should be caring, empathetic and enthusiastic to enhance the daily lives and education of these young learners.

Please be aware that  you will need a child workforce DBS which is registered to the update service.
