Position: Teaching Assistant

Salary: GBP1,326 - GBP1,600 per month

Start date: 7th June 2021

A warm and welcoming Secondary school located in Accrington are seeking a Teaching Assistant for Key Stages 3 and 4, commencing 7th June 2021.

The successful candidate will:

  • Prepare students for examinations, and encourage students to improve their punctuality, behaviour and standards of work and homework
  • Challenge and inspire students to help them deepen their knowledge and understanding
  • Have excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
  • Be confident in supporting students of all learning abilities
  • Be able to work productively as part of a school team

We will:

  • Provide you with weekly pay

You will need to be aware of Child Protection, Health and Safety, Behaviour, Teaching and Learning and Equal Opportunities policies. You will also need to have a Child Workforce DBS (or be willing to apply for one), two references and the right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
