Teaching Assistant – (Full-Time, Temporary)

£90–£110 per day (dependent on experience)
Full-time | Term-time only | Temporary
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Hull, working within an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) classroom. This is a full-time, term-time only temporary role with an immediate start, ideal for individuals passionate about supporting children throughout their early stages of education.
Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils in the EYFS setting

Support the class teacher with the delivery of engaging, play-based activities
-
Assist with early learning in phonics, literacy, and numeracy
-
Promote positive behaviour, independence, and emotional well-being
-
Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment

Work collaboratively with teaching staff and colleagues to meet individual pupil needs

Previous experience in a school or early years setting is desirable but not essential. Full training and ongoing support will be available for the right candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
