As Teaching Personnel have a high demand for Teaching Assistants to offer 1:1 support for pupils from EYFS - KS4 with severe Emotional, Social, Mental Health and Behavioural Difficulties.
We are working with one school in Salford, who cater for students who have been excluded or are in the process of being excluded and require additional support.
You must have experience supporting students who can display very challenging behaviour, however, this does not have to be in a school-based environment. Teaching Personnel also recruit candidates who have undertaken youth work, supported young offenders or those at risk of re-offending and those who have worked in secure or medical units. You must have the ability to build a rapport with a non-judgemental attitude and be passionate about improving the lives of young people.
The ideal candidate will be willing to work on a supply basis initially whilst we seek a longer term opportunity for you. Longer term opportunities usually arise quickly for those candidates who show initiative, are proactive and receive positive feedback from their supply assignments.
