Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant required - Poole
Are you an experienced teaching assistant looking for a new opportunity? Have you worked within KS1 classes befores, and have strong knowledge of the curriculum? Teaching Personnel is looking to recruit for a number of positions, including a KS1 TA within a school in Isleworth.
The role?
This full time role will consist of working within key stage one classes, from reception to year 2 - phonics and progression will be a key with this role. You will be required to provide general classroom support, conduct group and intervention support and work closely with students with mixed abilities including those with SEN and EAL.
You must be confident and experienced with phonics, a large part of this role will involve working in groups and on a one to one basis to help prepare for key stage one phonics exams. This role is based within a large three form entry school, with a structured and supportive EYFS/KS1 department. The team and year lead will help to expand your knowledge and confidence working with a variety of students with different topics.

This is a large three form entry school in the heart of Poole The school has seen vast changes in it's approach to learning and teaching, focusing on individual progression and approaches to learning. With an additional SEN unit they work with students of all abilities, looking for members of staff who are strong and confident working with all students. They have received a good Ofsted report, seeing great progression within their KS1 results.
