Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit SEN Specialist Teaching Assistants which can be off assistance to an Alternative Provisions during this lockdown period with a view to continue afterwards.

The school in Preston is looking to recruit a specialist teaching assistant to support children with SEMH difficulties and have an EHCP and therefore, are able to remain in school throughout this lockdown.

The school is looking for someone with excellent behaviour management strategies as you will be around children who may display challenging behaviours. MAPA or Teach Team Training is preferred but not essential. 

The candidate must be nurturing and want to support students in very difficult times and help implement strategies to support the social, emotional and physical well being.

This role is full time 8.30am- 3.30 pm Monday to Friday.

The pay for this role is negotiable but will not be less than GBP10 per hour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
