Year 6 Teacher – Bournemouth
Full Time | Paid to Scale | Start Date: ASAP / Easter 2026

Are you an experienced and confident Year 6 Teacher looking for your next full-time opportunity in Bournemouth?

We are working with a welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school seeking a dedicated Y6 Teacher who can confidently lead a class through this crucial stage of their primary journey. This is a full-time role and offers pay to scale.

The Role:

  • Full responsibility for a Year 6 class

  • Deliver engaging and structured lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum

  • Prepare pupils for SATs with confidence and clarity

  • Implement strong behaviour management strategies to create a focused learning environment

  • Work collaboratively with staff, parents and SLT

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Recent experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 6

  • Strong behaviour management skills

  • A secure understanding of the Upper KS2 curriculum and assessment expectations

  • Passionate, organised and committed to achieving the best outcomes for pupils
