One of my lovely primary schools in the BH15 area is seeking a strong, committed and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join their team from Easter on a full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive school where high standards, teamwork and pupil progress are truly valued.

The Role

As the Year 6 class teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Full classroom teaching responsibilities, including planning and delivering an engaging curriculum

  • Preparing pupils for SATs and supporting their academic and emotional development

  • Marking and assessment in line with school expectations

  • Attending parents’ evenings, staff meetings and school events

  • Working closely with colleagues and leadership to ensure positive outcomes for all pupils

The Ideal Candidate

  • A confident and experienced KS2 teacher, ideally with Year 6 experience

  • Strong behaviour management and high expectations of pupils

  • Committed, reliable and passionate about making a real impact

  • Able to hit the ground running and thrive in a full-time role
