Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are seeking Teaching Assistants to work in primary and secondary schools in the Wigan area.

**Role Details:**

- **Full-time Positions:** Immediate start

- **Temporary with Potential for Permanent Placement**

- **Competitive Pay:** £77-85 per day (experience-dependent)

Responsibilities:

- Working closely with students in 1-1 and small group settings to facilitate learning.

-Assisting teachers in maintaining a conducive classroom environment and inspiring students.

-Encouraging and empowering students to reach their educational goals.

-Managing challenging behaviours with empathy and professionalism.

-Following specific strategies to support students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a school or youth work setting is desirable but not mandatory.

- Graduates and individuals seeking to gain experience in education are encouraged to apply.
