Part-time Teaching Assistant 

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in a secondary setting in September?

If so, then please see details below of an exciting Teaching Assistant position which is set to commence on the schools return from the summer holidays.

  • Part-time Teaching Assistant – Wigan
  • Required to work flexibly from September 2020. (Opportunity for full-time employment later in the year.)
  • Previous experience is not essential and training can be provided.
  • Excellent pay rates with potential earnings of up to GBP1200 a month
  • Days and Hours to be confirmed

Our client school who aim to recruit for this Teaching Assistant position are based in Wigan and located close to both Leigh and Hindley in Wigan. The school holds an excellent reputation within the local community.

The school are ideally looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who can work with them on an initial part-time/flexible basis in order to provide support to a number of identified pupils joining the school from primary level.  

To be successful in this role, you must be able to build good relationships with both teaching staff and students and to be calm when dealing with students that show signs of challenging behaviour. You must be a good role model at all times and encourage the students that you are working with to make regular improvements within school.

Our client Secondary school;

  • Has around 900 pupils on roll at present – larger than other schools in the area.
  • Is located in the Hindley area of Wigan close to the A577
  • Provides good access to surrounding areas, Wigan, Leigh and Bolton due to an abundance of public transport links.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
