Location: Weymouth, Dorset
Salary: £85 – £95 per day
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (with potential for long-term placement)

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Weymouth, seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 1 and/or 2. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about helping children reach their full potential in a supportive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs.
• Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery, classroom organisation, and behaviour management.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
• Encourage pupil participation and engagement through positive reinforcement.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children in a school or similar environment is desirable.
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to learning support.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• TA qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3) are beneficial but not essential.
