Teaching Assistant in West Drayton

Job description

I am currently recruiting for an Outstanding 2-form entry Primary school in West Drayton who are looking to recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their expanding SEN department.

The school are looking for someone who has experience of working with students on the ASD (either Verbal or Non-verbal).

The Role:

  • Working 1-1 with students with Autism to improve their attainment within the class
  • Being involved in the planning of the students education plan

The School:

  • Walking distance to the Hays and Harlington train station
  • Supportive SLT, SEN department and parents and governors
  • Low staff turnover due to the culture of promoting from within

The Requirements:

  • Passionate to work with SEN
  • Previous SEN experience is of an advantage
  • Be able to support with nappy changing / toileting needs
  • Confident personality
  • Full time role - term time 8.30am - 3.30pm
  • Must be available for an immediate start
  • Able to commit to travel to Hayes daily during school based hours
  • School is part of multi academy trust - lots of potential; for development and progression
