Teaching Personnel are seeking Welsh speaking Teaching Assistants within the Gorseinon area to start in September as in a long-term position.
This partner school is a large primary school which has an excellent network of staff who work to a high standard!
This will be a long-term position and your daily hours will be 8:30 – 15:30, Monday to Friday. You must have Primary school experience or experience within the Care sector to a high degree (Within the United Kingdom).
You will be expected to support children’s activities inside and outside the classroom, promote pupils’ wellbeing as well as learning, assisting in setting up and planning lessons and lunch and breaktime/playground duties. You will be a positive role model and inspiration to pupils, by building and maintaining positive relationships - therefore being professional is extremely important.
What do I need?
You must have experience of working in a Primary School or the Care sector within the United Kingdom. The ability to speak Welsh essential.
- Applicants must have a current DBS or be willing to undergo a new check.
- Applicants also need to register with EWC.
- You must be trained in Safeguarding.
- The ability to drive is desirable, but not essential.
- Addresses for the last two years (No spaces).
- You MUST have a permanent UK address.
- We cannot offer sponsorship with a visa so you must have a visa that allows you to work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
