About the Role

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Trafford is seeking a passionate and proactive Teaching Assistant to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in children's education and development within a nurturing school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning.
• Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
• Promote positive behaviour and help manage classroom routines.
• Support children with additional needs, including those with SEND.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events and activities.

Requirements

• Experience working with children in a primary school setting is desirable.
• A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3) is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting children.
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
