Learning Support Assistant – Primary School | Moston
Full-Time | 08:15 – 16:30 | Immediate Start

Do you have the confidence and resilience to support pupils with challenging behaviour and special educational needs (SEN)?
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Moston. This full-time role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to helping children reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN and behavioural needs.
- Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement tailored learning strategies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support pupils in managing their emotions and behaviour constructively.
- Assist with classroom activities and general duties as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN and/or challenging behaviour (school-based experience preferred).
- Confident, patient, and adaptable approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Available to work Monday to Friday, 08:15 – 16:30.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
