We are seeking a full time Learning Support Assistant to work at one of our local primary schools in Stretford. 

The school are seeking an enthusiastic individual, ideally looking to begin a career in education. This is a mainly classroom-based role, however the school’s curriculum features plenty of activities including sports, outdoor education, and a number of vocational courses for KS2 students.

The ideal support assistant will be:

  • A calm and patient practitioner
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be confident working 1-1 and with small groups of students

Classroom experience is beneficial but not required. If you have experience in any of the following areas we want to hear from you:

  • Personal experience with SEMH/SEN
  • Youth/sports coaching
  • Study of Sports, Education, Health and Social Care, Childhood Studies or another related qualification
  • Volunteering work with children and/or young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
