Job description

Calling all teaching Assistants!

With an ever growing demand Teaching personnel are recruiting  teaching assistant’s to work in one or  several of our partners primary schools in Scunthorpe, you will have a varied and rewarding job. This can include working with small groups within lessons to further support their learning, taking small group and individual pupils out of the classroom to concentrate on specific areas and supporting SEN pupils on a one-to-one basis. You will take directions from the teacher and be able to work on your own initiate when working withing  group. You will have good knowledge of working with children and feel confident in supporting their learning.

Ideal Candidate

Ideally you will hold a level 2 teaching assistant qualification or higher and have experience working with children in a primary school setting, via voluntary or paid work. You must be confident in supporting maths and English to a primary level.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
