Teaching Personnel are representing a number of schools in the Rotherham area who are looking for a Teaching Assistant with a good knowledge of Phonics to support their reopening in September. 

Many children will be returning to school is September having not being in the classroom since March. Parents have reported that one area they have struggled to support was Phonics and reading, therefore plans are being put in place to deliver tailored boosters and interventions to close the gap. You would be expected to support within the classroom, as well as taking small groups for interventions. You may be expected to gather some of your own resources and use your own initiative to get the best results from the children you are working with. 

Ideally we are looking for someone who has experience of one or more of the following; 

  • Read Write Inc.
  • Jolly Phonics 
  • Letters & Sounds 
  • Floppy's Phonics 
  • Lexia 
  • Makaton 
  • Communicate in Print 
  • Rising Stars

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
