Teaching Assistant
Job description
We’re looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and motivated person to join our team full-time from Sept 2026
This is a really rewarding role where you’ll be working in a specialist setting, supporting children and young people with additional needs. Every day is different, and you’ll play a big part in helping students grow in confidence, develop new skills, and achieve their personal goals.
What you’ll be doing:

Planning and delivering fun, engaging lessons suited to each student

Creating a calm, positive, and supportive classroom environment

Working closely with a friendly team of staff and other professionals
-
Keeping track of student progress and adjusting your approach when needed
-
Supporting students with their social, emotional, and personal development
We’re looking for someone who:

Has a teaching qualification (or relevant experience)
-
Ideally has experience with additional needs (but this isn’t essential)
-
Is a good communicator and enjoys working as part of a team
-
Is patient, understanding, and proactive
-
Cares about making a real difference in young people’s lives

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
