SEN Teaching Assistant – Poole

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs? One of our welcoming partner schools in Poole is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.

What you’ll be doing:
• Providing one-to-one and small group support to children with additional needs
• Assisting teachers in adapting lessons to meet individual learning goals
• Encouraging engagement, independence, and confidence in the classroom
• Promoting positive behaviour and building strong, trusting relationships

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has previous experience supporting children with SEN (school-based preferred)
• Is patient, caring, and adaptable in their approach
• Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively
• Is reliable, proactive, and passionate about helping children succeed

Location: Poole
Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time (Term Time Only)
Start Date: ASAP

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
