Salary: £89.38 - £95 per day

Are you looking for a new opportunity where you can support children with additional needs in a warm, inclusive primary school? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with special educational needs at a lovely Monmouth primary school.

What You’ll Do:

• Work one-to-one with a pupil who requires additional emotional, social, or academic support.
• Support the pupil’s learning in literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum activities.
• Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behavioural strategies.
• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to the class teacher and SENCO.
• Foster a safe, nurturing environment that encourages independence and confidence.

We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience working with children with SEN, either in education, care, or youth work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, adaptable attitude and a genuine passion for helping children thrive.
• A child-only Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
