Teaching Personnel is delighted to announce an opening for a Part-Time General Teaching Assistant at a welcoming school in Lytham!

Position: Part-Time General Teaching Assistant

Location: Lytham (FY8)

Hours: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Monday to Friday

As a General Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning process, helping to create a positive and nurturing classroom environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the class teacher with preparation and delivery of lessons.
• Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional help.
• Promoting positive behavior and maintaining a safe learning environment.
• Supporting students with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND).
• Helping to create engaging and interactive learning activities.
• Contributing to the overall welfare and development of students.

What we're looking for:

• Enthusiastic individuals with a genuine passion for education.
• Previous experience working with children or in a school setting (desirable but not essential).
• At least a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.

What we offer:

• Competitive hourly rate. Between £12.50-£13.85
• Regular work hours with no weekends or evenings required.!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
