Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant eager to work with children who thrive in intervention groups and benefit from personalised 1:1 support? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity within a friendly mainstream primary school, supporting Key Stage 2 pupils from September.

This role offers a rewarding chance to work closely with children who have autism as well as those in small intervention groups, helping them access the curriculum and develop key skills in a nurturing environment.

What the role involves:

• Supporting multiple children across intervention groups to boost learning and confidence

• Providing focused 1:1 support to children with autism, adapting your approach to meet individual needs

• Collaborating closely with class teachers and SENCO to implement targeted support plans

• Helping create an inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and understood

Who we’re looking for:

• Experience working in primary education, ideally with Key Stage 2 pupils

• A calm, patient approach and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs

• Understanding of autism and proven ability to adapt communication and learning strategies

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
