Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant – Supporting Intervention Groups & 1:1 Autism Support – Starting September

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant eager to work with children who thrive in intervention groups and benefit from personalised 1:1 support? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity within a friendly mainstream primary school, supporting Key Stage 2 pupils from September.
This role offers a rewarding chance to work closely with children who have autism as well as those in small intervention groups, helping them access the curriculum and develop key skills in a nurturing environment.
What the role involves:

Supporting multiple children across intervention groups to boost learning and confidence

Providing focused 1:1 support to children with autism, adapting your approach to meet individual needs
-
Collaborating closely with class teachers and SENCO to implement targeted support plans
-
Helping create an inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and understood
Who we’re looking for:

Experience working in primary education, ideally with Key Stage 2 pupils
-
A calm, patient approach and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
-
Understanding of autism and proven ability to adapt communication and learning strategies
-
Excellent teamwork and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
