Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistants – Loughborough, Leicestershire. 

We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work across a range of schools in the Loughborough area. We have opportunities for day-to-day supply, as well as long-term, part-time and full-time roles.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s education and development, and who are looking for flexible and rewarding work within local schools.

Responsibilities:

• Support pupils in their learning, both in groups and on a one-to-one basis

• Assist the class teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure the safety and well-being of pupils

• Provide additional support for children with special educational needs where required

Requirements:

• A genuine interest in working with children and supporting their learning

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Flexibility, adaptability and reliability

• Previous experience in a school setting or relevant qualifications (such as a Level 2/3 TA qualification) are desirable, but not essential
