Exciting Opportunity for Teaching Assistants in Hull Mainstream Primary School
Join a vibrant and inclusive mainstream primary school in Hull, in partnership with Teaching Personnel, with the opportunity to secure a long-term contract at the school for the right candidate. We are currently seeking full-time Teaching Assistants to start after the easter break.
About the School: Our partner primary school provides a supportive and nurturing environment for students from diverse backgrounds. Catering to students with varying needs, including those with social, emotional, and mental health challenges, the school offers a unique approach to education, focusing on providing tailored support to help students thrive academically and emotionally.
Role Overview: As a Teaching Assistant working alongside our partner school, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' academic and emotional development. Working closely with teachers, you will provide assistance to students individually or in small groups, ensuring they receive the necessary support to succeed. You will help create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment where every child feels motivated and engaged.
Desirable Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, teachers, and parents.
- Previous experience working with children displaying challenging behaviors or with additional needs.
- Ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively, maintaining a positive and supportive atmosphere.
- Capacity to tailor support and learning approaches to meet the unique needs of each student.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
