Full time Teaching Assistant position Starting September Competitive Rates of Pay Dependant on Experience Experience supporting with phonics across EYFS and KS1 is essential Teaching Personnel are recruiting for client primary school in the Blackley area of Manchester (M9) who is seeking a knowledgeable Teaching Assistant to deliver phonics interventions across the EYFS and KS1. The successful applicant will work across the EYFS and KS1. The ideal candidate will have experience using both ‘Letters & Sounds’ and ‘Read Write Inc.’ Framework for phonics and must have recent and relevant experience in a similar educational setting. The school are looking for a committed practitioner to work across their larger than average, 2 form entry, primary school in Blackley! The children in the school speak many different languages so experience supporting children with EAL or other language barriers would be suitable. The ideal candidate for this role will; • Have experience working with primary school children • Have extensive phonics knowledge and be comfortable delivering intervention session to children in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 (when needed) • Have a passion for education and making a difference for the school and improving children’s learning In return, the school can offer, A leading management team with full guidance and support from all staff The opportunity to work in a ‘GOOD’ school recently rated by Ofsted The chance to build your career in education! All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
