Year 1 General Teaching Assistant
Location: Primary School, Gosport
Contract: Fixed-term 
Hours: Full-time 

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to join our busy Year 1 team in Gosport.

The Role:

• Support the Year 1 teacher in delivering engaging lessons

• Assist with classroom management and pupil supervision

• Help prepare and organise learning resources

• Support small groups or individual pupils as needed

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with young children (Year 1 or Early Years preferred)

• Is patient, adaptable, and approachable

• Works well in a team and communicates effectively

• Is committed to supporting children’s learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
