Teaching Assistants Required Across Essex
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in education?
Teaching Personnel is recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support schools across Essex. We are looking to hear from candidates with a minimum of 6 months to 1 year's experience working in a school, educational, care, youth work, or child-centred setting.
We have opportunities available across mainstream and specialist provisions, and we're particularly interested in hearing from candidates with SEND experience.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience working with children or young people
- Experience supporting learning in a school or educational environment
- Confidence working with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, adaptable, and positive approach to supporting pupils

- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- ADHD
- SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
