Teaching Assistant

We’re looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide crucial support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. This role is perfect for someone who is confident, calm under pressure, and passionate about inclusive education.
What we’re looking for:

Experience working with young people in any setting (schools, youth work, mentoring, sports coaching, etc.)
-
Previous experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) including Mental Health difficulties
-
Strong behaviour management and interpersonal skills
-
A high level of resilience, patience, and empathy
-
A proactive, team-focused attitude
What you’ll be doing:
-
Supporting students with SEN on a 1:1 or small group basis
-
Assisting in the delivery of lessons and ensuring students are engaged and included
-
Helping to manage behaviour and create a positive, structured learning environment
-
Working closely with teachers and the SEN team to implement tailored support strategies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
