Teaching Assistant Vacancy – Chichester
Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner schools at a friendly school in Chichester.
Role: Teaching Assistant
Location: Chichester
Contract: Full time
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils’ learning both in the classroom and through targeted interventions. Your role will be key in helping children reach their full potential by providing tailored support and encouragement.
Key Responsibilities:

Assisting teachers with day-to-day classroom activities
-
Supporting pupils individually or in small groups
-
Helping to prepare learning materials
-
Promoting positive behaviour and a supportive learning environment
-
Assisting with supervision during breaks and lunchtime as needed
Requirements:
-
A genuine passion for working with children
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude
-
Previous experience in a school or childcare setting is desirable but not essential
-
Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are a plus.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
