About the role:

Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit passionate and committed teaching assistants to work full time or part time in Primary Schools in Cardiff. This is the best way to start your career working directly in a school and to help develop the children’s education for the better. Teaching Personnel work with multiple schools in the Cardiff area and will find you the best role for you.

Day to day role:

Maintain a positive and supportive atmosphere to keep the students engaged

Support the teacher in setting up the classroom and the daily activities

Supervise the students during play times and lunch times

Follow the schools' policies and procedures

Give the children support and confidence regarding their work

Provide 1-1 or small group support for students

Requirements:

• No formal qualifications are required (ideal for those without prior experience in education).
• A genuine passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Experience working with children (e.g., in volunteer roles, babysitting, or sports coaching) is desirable but not essential.
• A DBS (child enhanced)
• EWC

Teaching Personnel will provide you with a dedicated candidate who will support and give you all the help and advice you will need, you'll also receive regular feedback from schools you work in to keep track of your progress and keep you updated. You can also receive £50 if you refer a teacher or teaching assistant to join our amazing team! It doesn't stop there, you will have full access to  our “My TP work” app, where you can have access to your dairy and have access to our free online courses.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
