We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming school in Cardiff. This is a fantastic full-time opportunity for someone passionate about helping children learn, grow, and achieve their potential.

The Role

• Support the class teacher with engaging and effective lessons
• Provide one-to-one or small group support across a range of abilities
• Assist with planning, preparation of learning materials, and classroom organisation
• Promote positive behaviour and maintain an inclusive learning environment
• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
• Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents to support achievement

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting (essential)
• Confident supporting phonics, reading, writing, and maths at primary level
• Proactive, reliable, and adaptable to different classroom needs
• Patient, empathetic, and passionate about helping children thrive
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
