Teaching Assistant

Could you have an immediate, positive effect on a student who have require additional support?
We are working with a large school to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant. The school is a large SEN school for those aged 3-18 who have a range of needs. These needs can include but are not limited to, Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties and Social, Emotional Mental Health needs.
Th role would primarily be focused in working with the Primary aged pupils so those with experience of this age group would be encouraged to apply.
The ideal SEN Teaching Assistants would have:
- Experience of working with ASC or other learning difficulties
- Passion for working with young people
- A proactive personality
You will play a vital role within the school to ensure that lessons operate smoothly, and students are able to complete all of the work set by the teacher. You will be supporting those with complex needs in a specialised classroom environment, encouraging positive classroom behaviours and guaranteeing that these identified students are causing minimal disruption to the learning of their peers.
This SEN Teaching Assistant role would have:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
