Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH)?

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a resilient behaviour support assistant to join our high-achieving secondary school in Bolton who are seeking an experienced practitioner to start in September 2026.

Role responsibilities:

• Support students identified as requiring additional support with their learning and integration into the classroom.
• Build rapport and positive relationships with students.
• Collaborate with the Senco to implement one-to-one behavioural intervention programmes.
• Maintain good knowledge of SEMH and SEN.
• Follow all safeguarding and child protection policies.

Our client secondary school is located on the outskirts on Bolton making it easily accessible to surrounding areas such as Leigh and Salford.

Key information:

• £1860- £2100 per month (dependent on relevant experience and qualifications).
• Paid weekly via PAYE (no umbrella company or agency fees).
• Full-time, Monday – Friday
• Proven experience supporting students aged 11-16 is essential
