The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting classroom learning and student development by:
- Providing individual and small-group support to students who require additional assistance.
- Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within the classroom.
- Helping teachers create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
- Encouraging student confidence, independence, and participation.
- Assisting with behaviour management and promoting positive classroom relationships.
- Monitoring progress and communicating effectively with teaching staff.

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, Learning Mentor, Youth Worker, or in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
