The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting classroom learning and student development by:

• Providing individual and small-group support to students who require additional assistance.
• Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within the classroom.
• Helping teachers create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Encouraging student confidence, independence, and participation.
• Assisting with behaviour management and promoting positive classroom relationships.
• Monitoring progress and communicating effectively with teaching staff.

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, Learning Mentor, Youth Worker, or in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
