Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in a range of welcoming and supportive Secondary Schools across Oldham. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, offering flexibility alongside rewarding opportunities to make a genuine difference in the classroom.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, SEN Teaching Assistants, Youth Workers, Sports Coaches, graduates considering a career in education, or individuals looking to gain valuable school-based experience.
You will provide classroom support across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, assisting with lesson delivery and helping students engage with their learning. Depending on the school's needs, you may work with individual students, small groups or whole classes, supporting a range of learning abilities and additional needs.
We are looking for candidates who are patient, proactive and committed to helping young people succeed. Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills, the ability to build rapport quickly and a genuine interest in education are key qualities for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
