Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a vibrant Year 2 class in a welcoming and inclusive primary school. This is a full-time position starting in December, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to pupils in Year 2, both in small groups and one-to-one.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Help create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
• Support children with varying needs, including those with SEND.
• Contribute to the overall well-being and development of pupils.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with children in a primary school setting (preferably KS1).
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Certificate) are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
