EYFS Teaching Assistant – SEN Support | Freckleton | Immediate Start

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing primary school in Freckleton. This full-time role is to start immediately, supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, with a particular focus on pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with SEN in EYFS.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering a creative and inclusive curriculum.
• Help foster a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
• Monitor and record pupil progress, working closely with the SENCO.
• Support children with a range of needs including communication, sensory, and behavioural challenges.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Proven experience working in EYFS and supporting children with SEN.
• A calm, patient, and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for early years education and inclusive learning.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA, EYFS or SEN training) are highly desirable.
