Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Job Duties:
- Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering educational activities
- Assisting with the implementation of individual education plans
- Providing support to students with special educational needs
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Supervising students during lessons and breaks
- Assisting with administrative tasks as required
Required Qualifications:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
- Enhanced DBS check
- First Aid certification (desirable)
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
Experience:
Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of child development and learning processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Safeguarding Children
- Training in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
Working Conditions:
This role involves working within a school environment, supporting students and teachers during school hours. It may require some flexibility in terms of tasks and responsibilities based on the needs of the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
