Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants (TAs) and SEN Teaching Assistants (SEN TAs) to work within a range of welcoming primary schools across Blackpool, Fleetwood, Thornton-Cleveleys, Poulton-le-Fylde, Lytham St Annes, and surrounding areas.
Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant or looking to build your career in education, we have a variety of opportunities available to suit your experience and availability.
Your Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
- Assisting the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons
- Helping children achieve their academic, social and emotional goals
- Supporting pupils with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD and SEMH needs
- Promoting positive behaviour and engagement within the classroom
- Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
We Are Looking For
- Previous experience working with children, young people or vunerable adults
- Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable but not essential
- A patient, caring and positive attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
