Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Location: West Midlands, West Midlands, Birmingham
Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours
Salary: £80 - £90 Per day

Job Description

Teaching Personnel are working with a range of primary schools from Coventry to Wolverhampton. We are currently recruiting experienced teaching assistants who are available full time (Monday to Friday form 8:30am to 15:30)  and can start ASAP. You must have an enhanced child DBS, or be willing to apply for one, also at least 2 graded references from prior employment or education settings. Roles are starting ASAP and are likely to run for the remainder of this academic year- potentially longer!!

Job Duties:

  • Supporting the teacher in planning and delivering lessons
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour
  • Providing one-to-one support for students
  • Working with intervention groups to support learning
  • Being intuitive to the needs of the children

Required Qualifications:

GCSE in core subjects

Skills:

  • Ability to use initiative
  • Experience supporting KS1 and KS2 curriculum
  • Capability to work with intervention groups
  • Able to provide 1-to-1 support when neccesary

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
