Full Time Teaching Assistant/Learning Support
Location – Ammanford
Pay Rate - £83.85 a day
Hours – Monday – Friday (8:30am-3:30pm)
WE ARE HIRING! We are on the search for some incredible teaching assistants to work within our Ammanford schools. If you have previous experience as a teaching assistant or have experience in working with children, then we’d like to hear from you!
Teaching assistants play an important role within our schools and we want you to be a part of it. If you are supportive and have a natural caring personality a teaching assistant role could be the one for you.
Teaching Assistant responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in contributing effectively towards pupils learning.
- Support pupils within the day-to-day class activities
- Deal with a variety of challenging behaviour
- Motivate & engage pupils throughout the day.
- Work with small groups or a 1:1 basis
- Have a positive impact within the school day.
- Support pupils with additional learning needs
What you need?
- Experience working within a school (ideal)
- Experience working with children (Essential)
- Enhanced DBS (or be willing to obtain one)
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work with children and is passionate about supporting pupils with their health, wellbeing and learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
