We've been asked by the headteacher of a secondary school for a full time teaching assistant to start in January.
The successful teaching assistant will be required to support children in a educational setting on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. You will be joining a successful support team that support children with learning difficulties and special needs. The role requires you to work within the mainstream classes and the unit.
Recent graduates have worked extremely well in this provision especially Psychology, sport and youth worker. Utilize your psychology background and look into the reason behind certain behaviours or use your skills from coaching to enhance a child's experience. If you are a graduate in another field and have a keen interest in working with children then please apply via the link.

- Full time starting in January until the end of the academic year
- Support pupils in year 8 and 9 with learning difficulties

- Requires a DBS, registration with the education workforce council and two most recent references
