Teaching Assistant - Future Teacher

Our client secondary school in Cwmbran have asked us for a full time teaching assistant to support their pupils on a one to one basis ASAP. You will be paid on a weekly basis £285 to £330.

There are a number of statemented pupils that have come from year 6 to year 7 that need supporting and help with transition to secondary school.

The role:

  • Work with children on a 1:1 basis that struggle with their new environment
  • Support them through the all classes
  • Use your specialism and become a role model!

What you need:

  • A proactive attitude to work with children at a secondary school age
  • Confident personality and aren't phased by large groups
  • 2 professional references
  • Enhanced DBS - assistance provided

Recent graduates have previously thrived in this role and the headteacher is keen to continue with that trend. The school want to see how you get on the pupils. No experience is necessary but having experience with children on a personal or voluntary level would be beneficial!
