Teaching Assistant

Start Date: September - October

Seeking an excellent Teaching Assistant wishing to move into a support role to support children. To start with, the post will be based in KS2 but is will possibly change in future years.

We are looking for this Teaching Assistant to provide classroom support for a child with special educational needs on a 1:1 basis. This role will be classroom based, but also may involve working in small groups and intervention work.

You will:

  • Be experienced of working on a 1-1 basis or in small groups
  • Be kind and have a caring manner with children
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Have excellent team work
  • Be committed to supporting children to achieve independence
  • Be able to build relationships with school staff and parents/carers

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
