Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Chorley

Job Type:
Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours
Salary:
£13.75 - £14.20 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Supporting classroom teachers in delivering lessons
- Assisting with classroom management and student supervision
- Providing one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties
- Preparing materials and resources for lessons
- Helping with administrative tasks related to teaching
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs in English and Maths
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience:
Prior experience working in a school or educational setting is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of classroom dynamics and student behaviour
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of educational principles and practises
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
This role involves working within a school environment, supporting teachers and students during school hours. The position may require some physical activity and standing for extended periods.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
