Teaching Personnel are seeking a specialist Teaching Assistant to work in an SEN School in Blackpool.

The school caters for pupils, aged 4-19, with a range of Special Educational Needs including Physical Difficulties, Complex medical needs, Autistic Spectrum Condition and associated difficulties such as Speech and Language Difficulties, Epilepsy and challenging behaviours.

The post holder will work as part of the personal care team and with teachers to support teaching and learning and will be expected to work anywhere throughout the age and needs range of the school. Duties will include assisting in the personal care and welfare of pupils with special educational needs and supporting the pupils' social, emotional and academic development.

You will ideally have experience working in an SEN School, for a specialist support service, in residential care or have a close personal connection to SEN. Experience is essential for this role as the school would like someone who can hit the ground running.

The working hours will be 8:30 - 15:45, with a 30 minute lunch and 15 minute break throughout the day.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
