Teacher - SEN- Oldham

A position for a Teacher to work at a special school in Oldham to cover on a day to day basis as and when is required. The position is ideal for a Teacher who is looking for the opportunity to work flexible hours and build up there experience working with pupils with SEN. This setting do also have permenant positions available so Teachers seeking permenant roles are encouraged to apply.

This setting is part of an outstanding Multi Academy trust which has 4 sites all of which are based in Oldham. The setting caters for children and young people with a range of diverse needs including: pupils with a Statement of SEN or an EHCP, on the autistic spectrum and/or have significant communication and interaction difficulties and social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).

The role will involve planning and delivering lessons which are designed to support and encourage the optimal development of pupils with SEN. Ideally the teacher will have experience of working within a specialised setting and know how to cater for pupils with SEN. However, experience within a special needs school is not essential as long as the Teacher can demonstrate a genuine interest in supporting the ongoing development of pupils with SEN.

The ideal Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (essential)
• Team- Teach training (can be provided)
• An understanding of the importance of differentiation
• A commitment to ensuring that learning is accessible to all pupils
