Are you looking for a flexible role in education while gaining experience across different schools?

We are currently supporting secondary schools in Bristol that need reliable Cover Supervisors to manage lessons in the absence of teachers. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to different school environments, receive feedback on your teaching approach, and identify the right long-term fit before committing to a permanent role.

This position is ideal for individuals considering a teaching career, Early Career Teachers (ECTs), or experienced staff seeking flexible work.

Your Role

  • Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher

  • Ensure students follow lesson plans and remain engaged

  • Manage behaviour and maintain a safe, productive learning environment

  • Support students with varying abilities, including SEND

  • Report on student progress and any issues to teaching staff


We’re Looking For

  • Experience working in schools or education settings

  • Strong organisational and classroom management skills

  • Professional and confident approach with students

  • Willingness to follow lesson plans and school policies

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
