Job description

We are looking to recruit teachers for our SEN schools for their roles starting in September.

SEN schools provide a structured and progressive approach to education for those with conditions such as Autism, Aspergers, SLD, PMLD, Downs Syndrome and other needs.

Teachers will be expected to prepare and deliver the curriculum based on the learning styles of their class, ensuring the basis of it is creative, engaging and inclusive of everyone.
You will also need to formerly assess the progression of your students in areas such as academia, social interaction and emotional maturity, and decide what further improvements can be made to impact their progression.

You will often liaise with parents based on your students school and home life, to help tailor the approach towards each student, which can include discussing behaviour, support needs, health needs and medication and modifications to classroom facilities when necessary.

In the classroom Teaching Assistants will support you with personal care and moving and handling.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
